BRSC committee members are dedicated to running a successful and friendly club. They aim to make the club accessible to everybody.
Rear Commodore Executive
Our Rear Commodore Executive manages the bar and bar area. He ensures its smooth running, offering the club a successful social area.
The Vice Commodore supports the Commodore in all decisions and ensures that all aspects of the club activities are running smoothly all year round.
Rear Commodore Sailing
Responsible for the sailing aspect of our club, including ensuring the Race Calendar, OOD, Safety Boat and beach duties, Training and Cadets is all fulfilled and runs smoothly.
Our Social Secretary is responsible for organising all the events that take place in the club. This includes both members and non-member activities.
The Treasurer is responsible for the input of the financial incomings and outgoings and will enter the figures into the accounts package. Judy will authorise reimbursement of agreed expenses and present the accounts at the general committee meetings and AGM
The membership secretary is responsible for membership processing and enquiries, as well as updating and maintaining the club member database.
Our Honorary Secretary keeps a record of all issues covered and discussed in committee meetings. She writes up the minutes and ensures that the committee are up to date with current issues.
Our voluntary maintenace team is responsible for maintaining the club building and grounds of the club keeping it is a safe enviorment all year round
With the start of volunteering around the club for 2 hours per member, Gervase has volunteered to run the Dutyman programme that we will use to manage this expectation.
Principal of Sailing
Our principal of sailing is the head of the sailing school at the club, overseeing the training of cadets and adults in water activities
Assistant Rear Commodore Sailing
Our assistant rear commodore of sailing helps the Rear Commodore Sailing with some aspects of running the sailing, events and racing.
